Ramesys and the Authority are working closely with the school to develop a robust, state-of-the-art ICT provision, based on the school's educational vision and meeting the needs of both teachers and learners. A customised training programme is being developed to support the staff in using the new technologies and the improved ICT provision. All parties are working hard to ensure that, as the first BSF school in London to have an operating ICT Managed Service, Kelmscott will serve as an example of good practice for the other schools in the programme, locally and regionally.
The Frederick Bremer new-build programme is running to plan. Ramesys and the Authority are collaborating with the school on the design of their ICT services, and implementation will commence at the end of the summer term. Ramesys is also closely involved in planning the move of Walthamstow School for Girls to the vacated Warwick Boys School site for the duration of the build on their current site. Detailed work on design of the ICT services for the Girls' school will start in the autumn term.
